For those of you who want to lose weight on a budget in the winter months, an alternative to purchasing an exercise bike is to simply get a trainer for your real mountain or road bike. Of course, you can get an entry-level exercise bike for pretty much the same price, but that’ll probably last you only a few months to a year due to the low quality of most cheap equipment. All you do is place your bike on the trainer and you’ll be able to use it like an exercise bike so you can lose weight indoors whenever you want.
Many people at gyms all over flock towards elliptical machines for their cardio fix to lose weight. They’re attractive to people of all physical levels since they’re easy to use and really do save your knees from that jarring effect common on treadmills. Males might find it embarrassing to use such a machine, since it’s generally perceived that only women use ellipticals to lose weight. However, both men and women should give them a shot since they’re very effective in helping you lose weight you’ve been struggling with.
